Workspace Customization Overview

The Customization settings section summarizes shared workspace tools that help teams standardize work across projects.
It focuses on three areas:
- Custom fields
- Shared steps
- Parameters
Summary Metrics
Section titled “Summary Metrics”The section shows counts for:
- Custom fields
- Shared steps
- Parameters
- Active areas
These counts help you see whether the workspace is using structured fields, reusable steps, and shared values.
Custom Fields
Section titled “Custom Fields”Custom fields capture structured information across supported work items.
The card shows:
- Count
- Status
- What custom fields are best for
- A link to manage custom fields

Status Labels
Section titled “Status Labels”Status labels help you understand setup progress:
- Not configured means the area has no items yet
- Needs attention means the area is present but may benefit from more setup
- In use means items exist
- Count unavailable means Hawzu could not show the count in that view
