Azure DevOps integrations let Hawzu create and link Azure DevOps work items from defects.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”Prepare these Azure DevOps details:
- Organization URL, such as
https://dev.azure.com/yourorg - Personal Access Token
Use a token that can access the Azure DevOps projects and work item types Hawzu should use.
Add Azure DevOps
Section titled “Add Azure DevOps”- Open the workspace Integrations page.
- Select Add Integration.
- Search for Azure DevOps and select it.
- Add an optional integration name and description.
- Choose All Projects or Selected Projects.
Use selected projects when only some Hawzu projects should create or link Azure DevOps work items.
Enter Credentials
Section titled “Enter Credentials”Enter the organization URL and personal access token.
Use Test Connection before continuing. If the test fails, check the organization URL, token value, and project access.
Configure Issue Creation
Section titled “Configure Issue Creation”After a successful connection, choose the Azure DevOps defaults used when Hawzu creates external work items from defects:
- Default Project
- Default Work Item Type
Hawzu loads work item types after you choose an Azure DevOps project.
Save and Use
Section titled “Save and Use”Save is available after the connection succeeds and the required Azure DevOps defaults are selected.
After saving, Azure DevOps appears in the Integrations table with its status, project scope, and configuration details. Users with access can create Azure DevOps work items from Hawzu defects and link existing work items.
