Hawzu helps reduce duplicate work by suggesting similar defects and letting users link defects as related or duplicate.
While you write a title and description, Hawzu compares the draft against existing defects. Suggestions appear when there is enough detail.
Each suggestion can show:
Depending on the suggested defect, available actions may include:
Only one defect can be selected as the duplicate relationship.
The Defect Details sidebar can also show similar defects. Use these suggestions to connect related issues after the defect has already been created.
Related defects are user-linked relationships. Use them when two defects are connected but not the same issue.
Examples:
Use duplicate links when one defect represents the same issue as another. Duplicate handling helps teams consolidate investigation and avoid repeated work.
If a duplicate relationship already exists, duplicate actions for other suggested defects are disabled.
Use Unlink as related when a relationship is no longer accurate. Unlinking removes the relationship only; it does not delete either defect.
