General Troubleshooting & Support Guide

This guide is your final checkpoint when something doesn’t behave as expected and feature-specific troubleshooting hasn’t resolved the issue.
Most problems are environment-related and can be fixed quickly using the steps below.
When Issues Persist
Section titled “When Issues Persist”If you’ve already followed the relevant troubleshooting guides and are still facing problems, try the following:
1. Reset Browser State
Section titled “1. Reset Browser State”- Clear browser cache, cookies, and site data
- Restart the browser completely
- Log in again and retry the action
2. Isolate the Issue
Section titled “2. Isolate the Issue”- Try accessing Hawzu in:
- Incognito / Private window
- A different supported browser
- This helps rule out extensions or cached state issues
3. Check Network Conditions
Section titled “3. Check Network Conditions”- Verify your internet connection is stable
- Try switching networks if possible
- Disable VPNs or proxies temporarily
- Corporate firewalls may block certain requests
Reporting an Issue Effectively
Section titled “Reporting an Issue Effectively”If the issue continues, contacting support with the right details helps us resolve it faster.
What to Include in a Support Request
Section titled “What to Include in a Support Request”Please include as much of the following as possible:
- What you were trying to do
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Error messages or warnings, if any
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Browser name and version
- Operating system
- Screenshots or screen recordings, if available
- Frequency (always happens / intermittent)
