Panels Overview

Panels are dashboard spaces inside Observatory. Each panel groups related charts so teams can review a specific quality question, release area, or project trend in one place.

Panels Page

The Panels page shows every panel available in the current project.

Each panel appears as a card with:

Panel title
Description
Chart count
View prompt
Actions menu for editing or deleting the panel

If there are no panels yet, Hawzu shows an empty state with a Create Panel action.

Search Panels

Use search on the Panels page to find panels by title. If the search does not match any panels, Hawzu shows a no-results state so you can clear the search and return to the full list.

Open A Panel

Select a panel card to open its dashboard.

Inside a panel, you can:

Review the panel title
Return to the panels list
Add a chart
View charts in a responsive grid
Open chart actions such as refresh, fullscreen, download image, settings, and delete where available

If the panel has no charts yet, Hawzu shows an empty state with an action to create the first chart.

Panel Actions

Use the actions menu on a panel card to:

Edit Panel: update the panel title or description
Delete Panel: permanently remove the panel and all charts inside it

Deleting a panel cannot be undone.

Permissions

Your project role controls whether you can view Observatory panels and whether panel actions such as creating, editing, or deleting are available.
