Delete Integrations
1 min read
Delete an integration when the workspace no longer needs that Hawzu connection.
Delete from the Actions Menu
Section titled “Delete from the Actions Menu”On the Integrations page, open the integration actions menu and select Delete Integration.
Hawzu opens a confirmation window with the integration name or type.
Confirmation
Section titled “Confirmation”The confirmation explains that deletion cannot be undone. Select Delete to remove the Hawzu connection or Cancel to keep it.
What Deletion Affects
Section titled “What Deletion Affects”Deleting an integration removes the Hawzu connection. After deletion:
- The integration is no longer available for new external issue creation.
- Users cannot link new external issues through that connection.
- Slack notifications for that connection stop.
- Webhook URLs for that connection should no longer be used.
What Deletion Does Not Do
Section titled “What Deletion Does Not Do”Deleting a Hawzu integration does not delete:
- Hawzu defects
- Hawzu test cases
- External issues in Jira, GitHub Issues, GitLab Issues, Azure DevOps, or Linear
- Slack messages already sent
Existing external systems remain responsible for their own records.
Before Deleting
Section titled “Before Deleting”Before deleting, review whether any teams still use the connection for defect linking, external issue creation, or Slack notifications.
If credentials are the only problem, edit the integration and update credentials instead of deleting it.
