The Assistant Panel

Ask Oracle in the header opens a panel on the right of whatever screen you are on. It is the same brain as the Oracle page, in less room — and the difference in room is the difference in what it does.

Open It

Select Ask Oracle in the header. It is available on every screen.
Type your question and press Enter.
Select the icon again, or press Esc, to close it. Your conversation is still there when you reopen it.

What It Answers Directly

The panel answers from documents — your own Canon specifications, and Hawzu’s product documentation. That is its home ground:

How do I set up a CI pipeline?
What does our payments spec say about refunds?

Every answer names the source it drew on. A Hawzu documentation answer links the page; a Canon answer names your document.

What It Hands Over

The panel is narrow and does not resize. When a question needs a chart, a create form, or a long sortable table, drawing it here would mean drawing it too small to use — so instead you get a short answer and a link to the Oracle page, which opens with your question already asked.

That hand-off is deliberate. A chart squeezed into a side panel is not a chart, and a table you cannot sort is not an answer.

It Remembers, Briefly

The panel holds a conversation. You can follow up without repeating yourself:

You — What does our checkout spec say about promo codes? Oracle — …answers, citing the document… You — And what about expiry?

Oracle carries the recent turns of the conversation into each new question — not the whole history. A long session eventually stops referring back to where it started, so if a follow-up comes back confused, restate the subject in full rather than adding another short reply.

Choosing the Source

Inside a project, a control lets you force where the answer comes from:

Records	Your project’s records
Canon	Your own documents
Docs	Hawzu’s product documentation

Choosing anything other than Auto skips the routing step, so a forced destination is a little faster as well as more certain. It is worth reaching for when Auto has guessed wrong twice — not before.
