Chart Configuration - Data Sources & Axes

Basic Settings

Chart Title (Required):

  • Descriptive name for the chart
  • Example: “Test Cases by Priority”, “Execution Trends Over Time”
  • Should clearly indicate what the chart shows

Data Source (Required):

  • Repository: Test case data from repository
  • Executions: Test run and release execution data
  • Requirements: Requirements data

X-Axis (Required):

  • Primary dimension for the chart
  • Options depend on selected data source
  • Examples: Priority, Severity, Status, Test Type

Y-Axis (Required):

  • Metric to measure
  • Options depend on selected data source and X-axis
  • Examples: Count, Status, Priority, Severity

Chart Type (Required):

  • Visual representation format
  • Options depend on data source and axes combination
  • Examples: Bar, Line, Pie, Doughnut, Stacked Bar, Radar
